«Vyazma» equipment for mini-laundries
Mini-laundries business in Russia is not sufficiently developed, being a promising direction due to low competition. Laundries in cities pay off in about 1.5-2 years. Fast and busy pace of life of modern urban residents creates a need for such services. Due to inexperience, many first-time entrepreneurs in the field of laundry services purchase semi-professional washing machines with limited service life, causing their rapid wear and tear. As a result, it is as the proverb says, «Buy nice or buy twice!». It is much more profitable to purchase industrial laundry equipment at once, because the service life of such machines daily used is more than 10 years!
A self-service laundry «Karlson» was opened in Cherepovets in December 2016. The laundry facility is in a residential area. There is a trade center nearby. The laundry is equipped with the equipment of the Russian manufacturer «Vyazma», including washer-extractors VO-20 and LO-10, drying machines VS-20 and VS-10, ironing calender VK-2050. Carpet cleaning is done with Karcher equipment and a carpet centrifuge VCK-2440.
Cost of washing in such self-service laundry is 45-50 rubles per kg. Detergents for clients are at place. You can wash your clothes yourself, or use the service of the laundry staff for an additional fee. Carpet cleaning is 600-800 rubles. The centrifuge extracts the carpets up to 2,4 m. Equipment was supplied, installed and put into operation by «Vektor» Company (Cherepovets), dealer of «Vyazma machine-building Plant» JSC. According to Viktor Filichev, director of the company, «Vyazma» equipment was shosen due to its favorable price-quality ratio. An important advantage is that the management of the laundry put its money on industrial equipment, but not semi-professional models of foreign manufacturers, which become non-repairable if used intensively in commercial operation. From 2014 Vyazma machine-building plant started mass production of new models with upgraded specifications, which makes successful the competion of «Vyazma» equipment with its world analogues in the Russian market.
And since this year, the plant has been offering a purposely designed model of VSSK-10 washer-extractor for mini-laundries. Plant design engineers managed to implement the concept of a mini-laundry in full and solve the problem of free space deficit, having designed the «column» type model, consisting of two industrial machines: a drying machine is installed on the washing one. This design solution provides opportunity to small laundries to have high performance with a minimum floor space, reducing the initial investment in leased or purchased areas.
The set occupies a floor space of 0,7 m2! Compact size and easy installation of VSSK-10, not requiring floor fixation, makes your mini-laundry launch effortless. Smooth controller operation facilitates quick mastering of machine control, as well as set up and saving of washing and drying programs you need. Drum volume of the washing machine is 100 liters, that of the dryer is 220 liters, allowing 10 kg load of real laundry into both modules.
Drum speed comes up to 950 rpm when spinning, making the machine extract laundry up to 50% of residual moisture. At the same time, it is very stable, thanks to the independent suspension of the drum. The washing machine controller has 10 default programs, and another 40 can be programmed at your own discretion. One of the features of this model is the pump, but not a drain valve, i. e. water is drained into the sewerage not spontaneously, but forced.
Controller of the drying machine has 5 preset programs and user can program 25 programs more. The drying program can be paused: for example, in order to open the door, touch laundry with your hands and decide yourself whether it needs further drying. The dryer continues running the program once the door is closed.
The main difference between the washing and drying machine of the «column» type VSSK-10 and the imported analogues is that both of its washing and drying machines are industrial and designed for 16 hours of daily operation during 10 years. Apart from the increased number of variable programs, this model can have dosing pumps and a residual moisture sensor as standard, which stops the drying cycle when the set residual moisture is reached automatically.
VSSK-10 has already passed its first tests in the laundry, and we decided to ask the opinion of the employees about the new machine, «We have been using this machine for more than a month. It is very easy to operate, multifunctional and able to wash and dry at the same time above all. Quality of washing is perfect, laundry is spinned and shaked, so that it is more convenient to pull it out of the door after washing. The machine is quiet, thus it seems fair to say that it made a good showing!»
