Vyazma machine-building plant is a leader in production of industrial laundry equipment in Russia and the CIS countries. Until recent times the plant offered its customers just a rug washing set in this field, consisting of a washing machine L-60 and a centrifuge KP-223. This kit proved itself to be good for dirt-proof mats and mops washing. L-60 washing machine has a large drum diameter of 764 x 1000 mm and perfectly cleans the stubborn lint, dirt, sand and pieces of soil. Unlike foreign machines, «L-60» model with manual control has minimum electronics, therefore there is no risk of its clogging and danger of failure of the electric valves because of dirt, since water is drained mechanically, by pressing the drain pedal, and this allows saving on expensive filters installed in foreign machines in front of the electric valves. Rugs, washed in the washing machine ,are extracted in KP-223 centrifuge, which has a fairly simple, but very reliable design, as well as a high level of operational safety.

Further development and expansion of the carpet treatment equipment range resulted in development of centrifuges for carpet spinning. The early sign was VCK -2440 centrifuge, first shown at the international cleaning industry exhibition «Clean Expo», held in Moscow in October 2014. The inner drum of the centrifuge is made of stainless steel (the outer drum and the body are powder enameled). There is a frequency control of the engine speed. The centrifuge is designed for spinning carpets up to 2.4 m wide and up to 6 m long. It has wheels, making its movement easy, and does not need rigid fixing to the floor. VCK-2440 was a preface to design of a whole range of centrifuges for carpet spinning. The next model was VCK-3540 centrifuge. It extracts carpets with a width of up to 3.5 m and a length of up to 6 m.

The plant demonstrated VBK-100, the first special-purpose machine for washing and extraction of stain-resistant carpets, a year later, at the next international cleaning industry exhibition «Clean Expo».

VBK-100 is a simple and, most importantly, affordable solution to the problem of stain-resistant carpets washing, compared to foreign brand analogues. The machine is automatically controlled with 50 washing programs available. It has wide doors of 980 x 360 mm on both sides, ensuring comfortable loading and unloading of stain-resistant carpets, making it possible to seperate the laundry facility into clean and dirty zones. VBK-100 has a sprung air -cushion design with pneumatic brakes, thanks to which the machine extracts carpets up to 50% residual moisture. The machine may stand dust and sand. The heavy-section valve is not clogged, and special slopes provide maximum dirt removal into the sewer, ensuring long and continuous operation of the machine in the laundry.

One of the machines is installed in St. Petersburg, at «Sistema UniRent» LLC. According to the company feedback, they are fully ok with the quality of machine washing. VBK-100 washes clean and extracts up to 22 stain-resistant rugs of 150 x 85 cm, or up to 18 rugs of 200 x 115 cm with 100 kg weight. Standard detergents are applied herein.

Vyazma machine-building plant plans to launch production of a 75 kg load drying machine drying of for stain-resistant rugs by the end of the year.
