Anniversary of Vyazma machine-building plant!

PLANT AT PIR EXPO-2018 EXHIBITION

The last week of September, traditionally marking the Machine Builders Day, started with PIR EXPO exhibition, where Vyazma machine-building plant presented new equipment of the 2018, 2019 model range.

Among the equipment designed for mini-laundries and self-service laundries, the plant demonstrated the self-service washer-extractor "VEGA" VO-10C and the self-service drying machine VEGA VS-10C, models with 10 kg load of laundry, reduced weight and overall dimensions and a convenient controller with touch control. This range of equipment was also presented by a dual drying machine "VEGA" VS-13x2, which has two drums with a 13 kg load of laundry each. As per the visitors, this structure is very convenient for limited laundry space and allows separation of laundry flows if necessary, for example, bed linen and terry towels, with different drying time.

Moreover, the range of washer-extractors was supplemented with new 2018 serial production products - VO-25 and VO-50 machines, equipped with automatic control and laundry weighing option.

The home-built ironing table LGS-156C was also presented at the booth. It is worthwhile noting that the model is equipped with adjustable heating of the ironing surface up to 90 0C, vacuum steam venting, thermal protection against overheating of the table surface. The table is coated with heat-resistant polyester Fanafel (Portugal) and has a cover made of heat-resistant Hasel fabric (Germany). The plant demonstrated VK-1424 and VK-2250 ironing calenders in the ironing equipment range, and gave a master class on ironing with one of the calenders.

The exhibition was visited by representatives of trade companies from Tajikistan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Ukraine, as well as the heads of hotels and holiday homes.

"Vyazma" booth was particularly crowded on the final day of the exhibition: numerous dealers and partners of the plant came there to take part in the celebrations in observance of the 120th anniversary of VMZ. A comfortable bus took the guests to the city of Vyazma just from the exhibition.

Special events started at Vyazma machine-building plant on September 28, with participation of "VMZ" JSC dealers from numerous cities of Russia and neighboring countries, as well as the representatives of the Chinese corporation "Sea-Lion", partner of the plant since 2002: Mr. WU SHIXIN, Mr. NI XIANG and Ms. HUANG BEI.

General Director of "VMZ" JSC conducted a tour of the plant workshops for the guests. Our dealers and partners could see the process of "Vyazma" brand equipment manufacture, new workshops and tools.

The official part ended with a round table «Plant-to-dealer, dealer-to-plant», where the dealer policy for 2019 was announced, statistics on dealer network performance was presented, as well as the results of VMZ sales for 8 months of 2018 summarized, which increased by 8% compared to the same period of the last year. In addition, the round table made it possible to discuss and resolve issues that came out in the course of cooperation.

Plant employees and guests came together in the spacious hall of the city Palace of Culture in the evening. A. N. Antonov, General Director of «VMZ» JSC, delivered welcoming remarks, «The word «Vyazma» is strongly synonymous with the plant in our country and abroad. Nowadays, the plant is a modern enterprise, close to the best global core enterprises in regard of the technological level of its products. And I am sure, we will come up to this level soon».

I.V. Demidova, head of the Municipality of Vyazemsky District congratulated the plant employees with the 120th anniversary of the plant. She noted that «Vyazma machine-building plant is an enterprise operating and continuing operation in spite of everything. All of this is due to well-coordinated work of a highly professional team».

S.A. Masutin, Chairman of Smolensk regional branch of the Union of Machine Builders of Russia congratulated the staff of the plant personally, but also conveyed congratulations on the Machine Builders Day from V.V. Gutenev, First Deputy Chairman of the Union of Machine Builders of Russia, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on economic policy, industry, innovative development and entrepreneurship, and from S.V. Chemezov, General Director of Rostec State Corporation, and Smolensk metropolitan Smolensk and Dorogobuzhsky Isidor.

Best dealers of 2018 were awarded as well. Everyone knows that the first half of the year is the hardest for sales, when each order is a great difficulty for entrepreneurs. And we are double pleased that upon the results of the first eight months the best dealer in sales volumes and quality of «Vyazma» brand equipment promotion was the Russian company «Vyazma-Ural» (the city of Ekaterinburg). The best dealer in the Republic of Belarus was «Agromashsbit» (city of Minsk). The title «Best dealer 2018» in the Republic of Kazakhstan was accepted by «Asia-Vyazma» company (the city of Ust-Kamenogorsk). Russian dealers presented the plant with a massage chair for the employees of the machine-building plant to relax after a hard working day.

The gala night continued with performance of well-known Russian musical groups: «Propaganda» and «Na-Na», who performed well-liked songs.

The celebration in observance of the 120th anniversary of Vyazma machine-building plant ended with a buffet. All guests noted the special warm-heartedness of the meeting. Reminiscence of hours spent together leaves warm memories for the entire life.
